Associate, Client Services

Our client is a leading independent wealth management firm in Canada, and the leading mid-market provider of investment banking advisory, equity research, sales and trading services for corporations and institutions.

They are seeking an Associate, Client Services to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Associate of Client Services role is primarily responsible for ensuring clients are extremely satisfied with the services being provided and that systems and processes are developed and maintained to support the growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate efficient and effective to solve client requests
  • Manage team phone lines and voicemail
  • Participate in projects to increase operational efficiency, and helping to develop the wealth business using various marketing initiatives
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Investment advisor and team
  • Assist in providing high level of calendar management
  • Assist with processing expense reports in a timely and accurate manner, tracking expenses, and preparing tax related documents for accountants and Family Offices
  • Prepare and assist in the preparation of business correspondence, presentations, reports, memos, letters, and spreadsheets
  • Support IA with technology by troubleshooting issues with video, audio, and Apple products
  • Assist with maintaining various databases (SalesForce), maintain and keep organized records/files for business and personal document

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills complemented by exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Able to legally work in Canada
  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Practices Handbook (CPH) and licensed with CIRO is an Asset
  • 2-3 years of related experience, with a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry
  • An undergraduate degree or higher level of education is an asset;
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capacity and high attention to detail, follow up, and communication;
  • Excellent prioritization skills with the ability to excel under pressure in a fast-paced growing team environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills complemented by the ability to work well independently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Zoom, and Salesforce
